Today is Human Rights Day. It's good to remember on such days that human rights abuses don't just happen in other countries somewhere else to other people. Amnesty International
has details on the human rights abuses committed by the U.S. Pablo Neruda has poetic scorn:

We don't have a good history, and David Bowie has excellent reason to be afraid of Americans. Let's not continue this trend.
